Too Much to Ask MMB to Stick Stuff in an Envelope
Don't EVER ask a Mindless Mushbrain Bureaucrat at a court clerk's office to stick something in an envelope and mail it. That would be far beyond all human decency in a civilized society.
The article in question is a CD recording of a Brookline District Court hearing, for which they charge an obscene 50 bucks. (Just think, for that amount you could buy four Black-eyed Peas CDs - Ack.)
A month went by, and the MMB never called to say the recording was ready. When I called, the sullen hack frumped that it was ready for a while, but it couldn't be sent unless I sent a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Who knows how many more months that envelope would have sat in some pile waiting for our heroic MMB to moisten the flap and place it in the outgoing mail pile. Oh, the pain.
